The foundation’s financial resources are comprised of bank funds and a teak forest. Once the teak forest is harvested, proceeds will be allocated to various projects and reinvestments.
Regrettably, 2022 was a challenging year for the foundation, as we lost several key individuals who had been instrumental in supporting us over the years. As a result, we made the difficult decision to relinquish our 90-account, which ceased to function as of December 31, 2022.
Throughout our history—before obtaining the 90-account, during its use, and now after its return—we have remained steadfast in our commitment to maximizing the impact of our assets and donations for the benefit of our mission.
In the interim, we continue to engage an external auditor, and the foundation remains subject to oversight by the county administrative board.
